I hadn’t realized that black-headed gulls are now naturalized in the US. Nice photos

These are actually called “Laughing Gulls.” They are native to the Atlantic coast of North America, Caribbean and northern South America. They are very similar to the Eurasian black-headed gull. Perhaps I have finally introduced you to a new bird… 😉
