Disseminating fear
Easily dismissed by my brain
Just another day in a backward world
Yet my body feels the impact
Little flutters of the heart
Fatigued to the core

You’ve described how I feel when driving around Akron, PA, and seeing all the “F*** BIDEN” signs, and the “TRUMP 2024” signs, and even the cars with actual flag poles and flags jutting out of the beds of their pickup trucks. Perhaps easily dismissed, but the nervousness remains.
