Clandestine Moon

I see you hiding in the shadows
A sliver illuminated in light 
The sun reveals your secrets
Your clandestine antics 
Won’t work tonight
Perhaps the clouds will grant you reprieve
As earth gets into position
To shield you fully
From the sun’s watchful glare
