Peach Blossom

Blooms from my backyard peach trees stand-in for cherry blossoms.  Each spring I admire them with reverence.  Each summer I curse them for their failure to produce edible fruit.  The bees and squirrels don’t complain.

Patio Peach Blossom

The patio peach tree produces small, inedible fruit.

The featured image is a true peach tree. It does produce edible fruit, but I refuse to use chemicals necessary to prevent fungus and pests in the high summer humidity.

  1. I love all trees, Jennifer, and peach trees are lovely. We have had quince, currently the plum tree has blossom on it, and after the cherry we will have apple blossom. A lovely spring display indeed!
