I feel that you are mocking me
Shrill shrieks
Threateningly
Trying to knock me down
Attempting to ignore thee
I find my feathers ruffling
You won’t let me be
Feeling pressured
Forced to flee

(with ruffled feathers)

I’ve seen those hawks being chased by smaller birds. I love how they are defending their nests from marauders. Poem is nicely done

The flow of your verse is perfect for the subject. It feels like I must quickly get away. Beautiful photos.

Side note: this is the second time in two days I’ve read / seen mockingbirds attacking. I had no idea they did that!
