We have a pileated woodpecker in the neighborhood – he had a bad habit of pecking holes in our porch posts at the old house! So far he hasn’t found us at the new place! I like the poem – a fun way to point to the bird’s identity!

We had those too! It was the carpenter ants that were the bigger problem – had to get professionals. The neighbors were a constant source of pests…
