Stay
Away
Buttinsky
And find yourself
You may be clever
But lacking in wisdom
The things that don’t concern you
Seem to be irresistible
What void must you be trying to fill
Stay away buttinsky and find yourself
W3 Prompt #78: Wea’ve Written Weekly’s poet of the week, Suzanne prompts us to: “Share an emotion of yours in a ‘Dectina Refrain’ poem.”
I chose to voice annoyance over a “buttinsky”, inspired by Weekly Prompts Wednesday Challenge. “A buttinsky is a person who butts in, interrupts, or interferes; a busybody, a meddler. This person’s obsession or lifelong goal is to interfere in the lives of all the people they know.”
Buttinsky…Nicely done! Thank you for taking part in our challenge.

Me too! When Gerry suggested the word I had to ask him what it meant. A North American slang word I believe.

That’s a new word for me – one I would like to use 😊 – the annoyance is loud and clear, flows so well in this form
