I must say that it startled me
Larger than I’d ever seen
A black head with a white body
I heard a shuffle from behind
I turned and thought I’d lost my mind
As in a tree there I did find
A black bodied squirrel entwined

Aren’t they beautiful! I wish there was a typical squirrel in the picture to compare them to, as they are probably twice the size.
