Outhouse

In a previous life
I must have sinned greatly
The universe
Really does hate me

As here I stand
Along a dirt road
Another tourist
Unburdening their load

Some dare complain
Of the horrible smell
Though my caregiver
Cleans me up well

The rare welcome visitor
Praises they sing
“Hallelujah!” “Amen!”
For the service I bring
