That face!I know it so well.The smirk;Behind which there lies a punch line.The smile;That lights up the sky.The frown;So full of disappointment.The forehead;Wrinkled in concern.But this face I have not seen before.Talk to me.

Going through the motions;What is happening?It’s better not to think about it.Take action to avoid;Check this off, then that.What to do next?The thoughts are creeping in.Must do something, anything;Run! Run! Hide! Hide!But the truth is there;Look it in the eye.

The family that traverses these stairs;Is a joyful family indeed;They do not want for anything;As with love they each succeed.
Broken Dreams?
I’m tired of waiting for something to happen;Fed up with searching for that magical moment;Working tirelessly to achieve the unachievable.The reward must not exist.There is no light at the end of the tunnel;No golden trophy atop the pedestal.Only the searching and waiting.Yet… the quest continues.
Unspeakable
How dare you? Cause chaos and death; Harm the innocent; Murder the children. How dare you? Lie to the people; Spread hate and fear; All to satisfy your demented ego. You are on a one way path to self-destruction. A rogue monster; Destined to fail; Consigned to oblivion.
Impermanence
I stare at the beauty that I know won’t last, The darkness shall overtake it, Or time will eradicate it. Will a photo truly capture the moment? I think not. I must simply enjoy the view, While knowing in the midst of the darkness that is to come, The next beautiful moment is unfolding.
